Intelligence is something that is mistaken to be very hard to attain. To be honest, it’s really simple to attain. All you have to do is follow my six simple steps to becoming intelligent.
Read
Reading is a very crucial aspect in learning lots of things about the world and improving your literature skills. Reading non-fiction books that are related to business, psychology, health, and science will help improve your general knowledge of the world. Reading historical fiction, classics, and other types will help improve your reading comprehension and writing skills for those who are in school. Overall, reading is a great habit to get into so you can increase your intelligence.
Do Puzzles
Working on puzzles is a great hobby to develop for many reasons. Puzzles help expand your brain, sharpen your brain, increases your mental speed, enhances short-term memory, increases problem-solving ability, and increases your focus. This in return, increases your intelligence. Some of the best puzzles to do are sudoku, logic puzzles, math puzzles, and others. I think you can consider Chess as a puzzle, but I highly recommend play chess as it is exactly like a puzzle in a way,
Consume Brain Foods
While working on other activities is very helpful, eating the right food is also necessary to power your brain so that you can work efficiently. According to tons of nutritionists, eating green leafy vegetables, low-fat meat, fatty fish, eggs, nuts, whole grains, berries, oranges, dark chocolate (ones that contain more than 70% cocoa), beans, and drinking coffee or tea. Incorporating these brain foods in your daily diet will surely provide the most efficient energy your brain needs to be intelligent.
Play A Sport
Playing a sport is not only good for your muscles and physical strength, but it is also good for your brain in many ways. It improves cognitive abilities, makes you mentally strong, and increases your performance in learning and processing information. A perfect example of a smart athlete is Ryan Fitzpatrickick, he was in the top 1% of his high school class and he even graduated from Harvard with a degree in economics. As you can see, playing sports can make you intelligent.
Play An Instrument
According to scientists, playing an instrument strengthens your brain and memory power. It’s been proven that it helps develop certain parts of the brain which can help you in the long run. Instruments I recommend learning and playing are the piano, guitar, ukelele, and drums as they are easy to learn.
Get Good Sleep
Getting a good amount of sleep every day is essential in being able to work efficiently every day. Sleeping around 7-8 hours helps your brain process everything you learned or did today so it can store it in the brain and relax. So getting the necessary amount of sleep helps you to process the intelligent activities you did today so you can increase it every day.
