“When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” is truly one of the best phrases ever quoted. This phrase has many interpretations about the “lemons” life gives you so I would like to share how to utilize these “lemons” and why life gives them.
First Interpretation
The first interpretation of this phrase is to turn something desirable (lemonade) from something bleak (lemons). How you do this is by replacing negative thoughts with positive ones because you are in control of your life. It is up to you if you want to get back up or stay fallen down. So take responsibility for yourself over the situation because responsibility can make lots of things correct.
Second Interpretation
The second interpretation of this phrase is to make the best use of what you have (lemons) in any situation for a great purpose (lemonade). Life throws us where ever it wants and to overcome these situations, we need to utilize everything we are given in life. We have to use these “lemons” to the best we can to overcome our challenges so we can lead a peaceful life. Life is not easy for everyone and so be thankful for what you have and use it for the best purpose you can for a beautiful life.
Third Interpretation
Lastly, the third interpretation of this is to look at the optimistic and bright side (lemonade) of life (lemons). There are lots of vain things about life because of the huge amount of evil all over the world. Instead of thinking negatively of life, it's better to think bright about life because life is too short to live a life of regret and sorrow. Make the best out of life and try to help people all over the world who are suffering from terrible things. Life as a whole is not defined as optimistic but your life can be defined as bright and happy if you choose it to be that way.
Conclusion
Overall, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade because you can make life something desirable, purposeful, and colorful. I hope that you keep this phrase in your heart as encouragement because there is a purpose to life and your life. Don’t regret life or be sorrowful all the time, be happy all the time. Life is too short to be grumpy.
